3. User Responsibilities

As a user of Runometer, you agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
  • Respect the privacy of other users
  • Use the service in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Be responsible for your own safety while using the tracking features

Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy, GPS tracking may not be 100% precise due to various factors including weather, terrain, and device limitations.

Safety Disclaimer: Always prioritize your safety while running. The application is not a substitute for proper safety precautions, and we are not responsible for any injuries or accidents.

Service Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. The application may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.

7. Third-Party Services

Runometer may integrate with third-party services including:

  • Google Maps API for route visualization
  • Google OAuth for optional authentication
  • Device biometric APIs for Face ID/Touch ID
  • Lbow.org ecosystem services

Use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Runometer:

  • For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
  • To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
  • To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
  • To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
  • To submit false or misleading information
  • To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. All data stored locally on your device will remain under your control.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.

By continuing to access or use our service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Lbow.org ecosystem operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
